Earth Mother

Original carved from butternut. (Designed to match Cernunnos.) The Earth Mother, shows the phases of the Goddess through the foliage around her. The intention is to present a flow from birth with the buds, going through life and ending at death and transformation. She is surrounded by animals, flowers and herbs sacred to the Goddess. The crescent on her brow identifies her not only as the Goddess of the fertile Earth, but also of the ever changing Moon, symbol of rebirth. The torc encircling her neck is a Celtic symbol of Sovereignty. Available Finishes: Stone and Wood Size: 12" x 12" x 4 1/2"
